Mansour Keramat, Ph.D.
Dr. Keramat has over 10 years of design and teaching experience in the industry and academia. Dr. Keramat was Chief Analog Engineer at GlobespanVirata, a global leader in DSL communications, and was Principal Analog Designer at NVIDIA. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Director of the Mixed-Signal Laboratory, at the University of Connecticut, where he instructed numerous short courses on analog circuit optimizations to the industry. He also consulted for a number of companies in high-performance circuit design.
His expertise spans a wide range of high-speed analog circuits including A/D and D/A converters, PLLs, and Analog Front End's (AFEs) for imaging systems, wireline and wireless communications. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Superireure d'Electricite (SUPELEC) in France.
Mehrdad Heshami, Ph.D.Dr. Heshami has over 10 years of design and project management experience in the semiconductor industry. He was Director of Analog Engineering at GlobespanVirata, where he managed a team of analog engineers to develop several analog front-end (AFE) silicon for residential and enterprise-class DSL gateways. He has also held engineering management and principal analog engineering positions at NVIDIA, Excess Bandwith and Rockwell Semiconductors.
He has strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems, including high-speed, high-resolution data converters, phase locked loops (PLLs) and high-speed I/O circuits. His emphasis is on circuit optimization for lowest power consumption and smallest silicon area. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
